Wrong Room, Evenly Matched, A Tense Tug-of-War

At their engagement banquet, someone asks the groom, "I heard the first time you met was in a hotel room?"

Shen Zhiyi holds her glass of red wine and smiles radiantly. "That's right. I went into the wrong room."

Gu Shenting slips an arm around her waist and adds leisurely, "She took off her clothes and went into the bathroom to shower, only to find me showering in there too."

The whole room erupts.

"And then?!"

Shen Zhiyi blushes, remembering that ridiculous night. Two people who had never even had a first love kissed passionately beneath the shower, then tangled together from the bathroom to the bed, carrying on until dawn.

The next morning, neither wanted to part when they woke. In truth, they had both fallen for each other at first sight. But they were both stubborn to a fault, and neither would admit to love at first sight.

The guests never got the scandalous story they were hoping for. Instead, the two spent over half a year battling it out in business and trading moves over drinks, each testing the other, until at last they found their happy ending.

Only they knew that every time their eyes met, it was a spark that could set the whole world ablaze.
