[Light Novel + Slice of Life + One Heroine + Ensemble Cast]
At Kitagawa Advanced High School, where geniuses abound, class assignment determines your fate. Points, resources, and prospects are all decided by your class ranking.
At the start of his second year, Luo Yourui is banished to Class D, the third-worst class in the entire school. It’s packed with all kinds of oddballs: Li Tongyang, a terminal chuunibyou; Chen Dongjie, the silent observer; Chen Guangjin, the information fanatic... and the mysterious girl Lin Yuyang, who ought to be standing at the very top.
She gives up Class A and chooses Class D. “I want to see what’s left in life besides being number one,” she says.
When the mysterious Summoning Beast System activates, class wars erupt, and summer camp and the school festival come one after another, the students of Class D, abandoned by everyone, will prove one thing in the most absurd way possible:
The strongest bonds are often born in the most unremarkable places.
