Lu Haoxu, a lonely young man wandering on the edge of the city, makes a living by doing odd jobs. His only hobby is collecting various cards. Beneath his cold exterior lies a past that he doesn't want to be touched. Until one day, he bought a worn-out card from a street stall and accidentally activated the "card drawing system". From then on, every time he draws a card, he can gain random abilities - from the useless skill of "making anyone sneeze within one minute", to the strange partner of "summoning a crow that can complain", to the heaven-defying skill of "briefly predicting what will happen in three seconds". However, the system has a tricky setting: to draw a card, you must complete the specified task, otherwise the card will be invalid. As a result, Lu Haoxu was forced to get involved in a series of ridiculous events: helping an irritable neighbor find a lost wig, live-streaming goods for a convenience store owner, and even preventing a well-planned jewelry robbery. In the process, he met the selfish villain-real estate developer Zhao Yongli, who was willing to destroy the entire neighborhood for profit. Lu Haoxu seemed troublesome, but he helped the weak again and again. When Zhao Yongli took advantage of card loopholes to try to monopolize city resources, Lu Haoxu used a bunch of seemingly useless card combinations to stage a reversal. In the end, he not only protects the neighborhood, but also discovers that indifference is just a protective color, and that real power comes from the warmth of the heart.
