At the start-of-term Soul Measuring Crystal test, the crystal showed no response, and the soul power of every member of Yun Yuan's Seven Stars dropped to zero overnight.
In Yun Yuan City on the Star Luo border, undercurrents run deep. Seven youths who once stood side by side in life-or-death battles, Mu Yanzhi, who commands thunder; Helan Huai, who wields Vermilion Bird flames; Shen Zhinian, who commands Netherworld Butterflies; Shui Yun Luoyi, whose flute can shatter souls; Yu Zuichun, who strides through the aurora with blade in hand; Qiu Yuebai, who carries the Nine Jade Lotus; and Han Xingyu, who dances with Starfeather Butterflies, have just entered their second year when they are swept into a startling game of strategy spanning Douluo Dalu.
A mysterious witch appears, a battle over Shrek hidden weapons erupts, strange beasts stir in the back mountains, the Soul Master Tournament takes a shocking turn, undercurrents swirl in the business war in Xuan City, forbidden soul crystals hit the market, Spirit Hall remnants rise again, and the resurrection of the Evil God draws near... One conspiracy leads into another.
From classroom lessons to perilous abysses, from clashes on the tournament grounds to decisive battles at altars, they wield their Martial Souls as blades and rely on one another as shields, walking side by side through the darkness.
They came following the stars, and arrived for the Radiance.
This time, they will use the light of the Seven Stars to save the fate of the entire continent.
