Su Wan, a restorer of ancient ceramics from the Forbidden City, was accidentally electrocuted by a modern scalpel hidden under the bowl while repairing a Qianlong secret-color glazed dragon-patterned bowl, and traveled through time to become the lowest-ranking Han army maidservant in the Qing palace. She has no golden finger in history, and only relies on her superb repairing skills of broken porcelain and knowledge of traces. She narrowly escaped death in the harem, and was made an exception by Qianlong, who was obsessed with ancient porcelain, as a porcelain attendant in the Yangxin Palace.
The seemingly indifferent "Porcelain Concubine" Shu Concubine is actually an orphan from the previous dynasty who has been hiding for twenty years. She is also proficient in porcelain and turns porcelain into a weapon for killing people and seizing power. During the "porcelain war" with Concubine Shu, Su Wan met the gentle Lu Zhiyuan, a descendant of the imperial kiln, and developed a complicated relationship with Qianlong that was mixed with manipulation and sincerity.
When a massacre broke out in the imperial kiln factory and Lu Zhiyuan died tragically, Su Wan was forced to get involved in the whirlpool of life conspiracy and palace changes. In the end, she uncovered the ultimate closed loop of time travel and faced Qianlong's decision to "prefer to protect the country rather than trade for the future". Between the red walls and broken porcelain of the Forbidden City, she left behind a tragic legend that spans time and space.
