[Female Detective x Poker-Faced Forensic Pathologist x High-IQ Team]
When star detective Lin Shuyue is forced to take over her family’s legacy, her team’s quirks start taking over: forensic pathologist Lu Jingchen is obsessed with making coffee, top student Ye Zhixing is hooked on poring over ancient texts, self-taught expert Jiang Ye spends every day studying “killer moss,” and gentle artist Su Qingci sketches criminals while also making reaction memes for the team.
As they investigate old cases, they uncover a botanical garden murder, an underground drug lab, and a death notice bearing the words “Moonlight Grass.”
We seek the truth not only for justice, but for those who still believe in the light in the darkness, ourselves included.
