High Martial: I Hand Over the Law of Cause and Effect, and the Nation Helps Me Soar

After transmigrating into a modern, high-martial-arts world overrun by ferocious beasts, overworked office drone Zhang Sanqian awakens an absurdly powerful golden finger: [Karma].

All he has to do is set an “effect,” and the world’s timeline will automatically converge to make it happen.

It sounds incredible, but Zhang Sanqian can only say, “I’m a total weakling. What am I supposed to do with this thing?”

The alarm blares: ferocious beasts are attacking the city. The martial arts genius next door shatters rocks with a single punch, while he crouches in an air-raid shelter, trembling and clutching his thermos.

To stay alive, he makes a decision that would disgrace his ancestors:

He turns himself over to the state.

And so, Zhao Jianguo, director of the Special Services Bureau, receives the most outrageous surrender call in history: “Comrade, I want to turn myself in. I’ve awakened a dangerous ability. Please, the state has to protect me!”

At the testing ground, Zhang Sanqian nervously activates his ability. “This cup of water... should be able to hit the target, right?”

The next second, the tea takes a bizarre curve, pierces three layers of bulletproof glass, and lands dead center in the bullseye a hundred meters away.

The entire venue falls silent.

That very night, headquarters gets on a call with him. Zhang Sanqian is commissioned as a major, given the benefits of a regimental-level officer, and assigned his own secure residence.

Other people cultivate by grinding away. He cultivates by talking: “These new recruits are definitely going to awaken S-rank talents.”

Three months later, the awakening rate among new recruits in Huaxia has surged a hundredfold.

“This time, a nuclear bomb is definitely going to kill that Beast King.”

The missile launches. Karma sets things right, and the Beast King is blown to smithereens.

Foreign powers go berserk: “Huaxia must be hiding a Martial God who can rewrite fate!”

The international martial arts forums explode: “Who exactly is this ‘mysterious powerhouse’?”
