A Korean border man, who was casually named "Baby" by the landlord, walked from the Warring States Period to the Ming Dynasty carrying an old stone fragment on his back, asking if there was any truth in this world.
At the end of the Warring States Period, in Niqiu Village on the border of South Korea, a young man who herded cattle for a landlord was casually named "Beg". His father died in hard labor and his mother died in childbirth. He was supposed to live like dust and disperse like dust.
But he happened to have a strange disease - when he saw others suffering, he could no longer pretend not to see it.
From the annexation of the Qin Dynasty to the Six Kingdoms, to the Han, Tang, Song and Ming Dynasties; from refugees, doctors, craftsmen, slaves, to scholars, monks and the change of dynasties, Fan Bei carried an old stone piece on his back and walked through it for more than a thousand years. He has no destiny, no favor from the sect, and has never been smarter than others; he just refuses to believe that this is how the world should be.
This is a story about an ordinary person walking through the long world and asking all the confusion.
