Story summary
My name is Chen Santu. A book called "Notes on Retrieving Corpses" passed down from my ancestors records the locations of seventy-two "yin eyes" under the Yellow River. Before he died, my grandfather held my hand tightly and said: "Four generations of our family have been collecting corpses to pay off debts to the river god... Don't look for that thing under the Guandi Temple."
Five years later, the archaeological team dug out a copper coffin from the ancient Yellow River Road. The lid of the coffin was engraved with seven words -
"The coffin opener is Juemen Ding."
That night, all members of the archaeological team disappeared, leaving only a crazy girl who repeatedly chanted: "He was counting hairs in the coffin..."
And I discovered that on the last page of the notebook, someone had written a new line of words in blood:
"Santu, your father is not dead. He is in the copper coffin."
