He’d Planned It All Along: Falling in Love With Me

A devoted, scheming CEO × a dazzling, sharp-tongued heiress. Marriage first, then love; secret crush turned mutual, with a chase to win her back.

An alliance that began as a scheme becomes the deep love he has been plotting for years.

Everyone in Lin City knows the Lu Group is on the brink of bankruptcy and that marrying into a branch of the Jiang family is its only chance to survive. The spoiled, sharp-tongued Lu heiress, Lu Yunqi, is forced to marry Jiang Yubai, who is said to belong to a branch of the Jiang family. She lays down three rules: their marriage will be in name only, they will stay out of each other’s affairs, and either of them can leave at any time.

But she has no idea that this so-called “business marriage” was set in motion two years ago, when he caught a glimpse of her and was captivated. He is not only the Jiang Group’s true second son, but also the one who deliberately pushed the Lu Group into crisis so he could bring her under his protection and marry her with every right as her “savior.”

After the wedding, his calculated flirtation and indulgence gradually wear down her resistance until she falls for him. He secretly transfers hundreds of millions in assets into her name and fulfills her unspoken dreams with elementary schools for underprivileged children and an art gallery. By the time she discovers the truth, she is already hopelessly caught in the web of tenderness he has woven around her

“Lu Yunqi, from the first moment I saw you, I was scheming about how to marry you. But I never schemed when it came to loving you.”

When deep devotion disguises itself as a scheme and a long-planned love is slowly revealed, what will she do?

He has spent two years laying this plan, just waiting for her to say, of her own free will, “I love you.”
