Blue Archive: A Hymn for Tomorrow

When Chaowu Deng woke up, Kivotos had already been destroyed seventeen times.

As the ultimate weapon created by the Nameless Priests, she had only one command etched into her soul: make sure the “script” followed its predetermined course, and deal with any accidents that deviated from it. She had shattered the halos of countless students, watched the desert of Abydos swallow its last oasis, and heard the teacher from S.C.H.A.L.E. cry out her name amid the ruins, each time with greater despair.

Then time reset. She remembered everything. No one remembered her.

In this new cycle, she had no intention of being that damn “safety net” anymore. The script? To hell with it.

This is a story about two people who “shouldn’t exist” finding redemption in each other amid an endless loop. When the world is doomed to be destroyed, when the script cannot be changed, when every god wants her on her knees, she chooses to pick up her gun and aim it at the one writing the script.

Reader’s guide: Lighthearted everyday life at first, featuring a burned-out wage slave and a saint’s sarcastic remarks. Later, plenty of tearjerkers. No, absolutely not. I’ll make my left and right brains fight each other, then swallow all the angst. Guaranteed. (The author is afraid of getting threatening letters.)

Blue Archive fanfiction, transmigrate, a saint who just wants to slack off, redemption.

A new writer here. If anything feels out of character, I’ll immediately prostrate myself in apology.
