The world has been corrupted by rules, and ghost realms overlap with reality.
While everyone else struggles to survive in a horror school, Chen Du collects rent in his own apartment building.
The Slit-Mouthed Woman asks, “Am I pretty?”
Chen Du hands her the Tenant Handbook. “Please pay your rent on time. Leave a good review and get cash back. Holy water is free to use!”
Sadako crawls out of the TV. “What’s the Wi-Fi password?”
The Fat Ghost swallows an intruder. “...I think I ate something bad.”
The Spirit Investigation Bureau warns him: You’re playing with fire.
Chen Du replies, “No, I’m being a landlord.”
This is a rules-based horror game, but I’m the one who makes the rules.
Recruiting weird celebrities, haha, it's so fun. The slit girl and Sadako are here 🤦 The rhythm is comfortable, scary and funny 😂 The daily life and the main plot are interspersed just right. Collecting rent, hotpot, going to school, playing dungeons... Each chapter has something to watch, and it won't feel procrastinating or rushed.
Advantages: The balance between horror and comedy is well struck👻. The suspenseful threads of the basement seal, rule pollution, and purifier pursuit have always whetted the appetite, but there are also silly conversations and warm interactions in the daily life, which will not be too depressing. Disadvantages: Some plot twists are a bit fast, and the villain is a bit tool-like. If some low-intensity conflict events can be added, it will be better! Personal thoughts, don't comment if you don't like it 😂
