Shanxi Underworld: From Miner to Crime Boss

[This new book just came out, so the rating will rise]

1997, Wushan Town, Shanxi.

Miner Wang Yue watched with his own eyes as gangsters beat his coworker to death. The killer got off with a payment of just 3,000 yuan. In that moment, he understood: here, fists were useless, reason was useless, and the law was useless.

Starting with a homemade gun, he built a black-gold empire that controlled the entire mining district. He thought this was the beginning of his rise. Then his brother betrayed him and the police put out a warrant for his arrest, forcing him to flee to the Northeast.

He spent three years in a black prison, where he learned one thing: a true kingpin doesn't rely on fighting and killing. He makes everyone, even his enemies, want him to stay alive.

On the day he got out, Wang Yue said just one thing: “I'm back. It's time to pay me back.”
