Chasing a thief somehow sends him back to 1992!
Veteran detective Zhou Cheng stares at his youthful reflection in the mirror, dressed in a public security uniform, and is completely bewildered.
Forensic identification is done by eye? Suspects are tracked down with hand-drawn sketches?
Cases are solved entirely through “instinct” and “experience”?
His colleagues are still tearing their hair out over a string of burglaries.
Zhou Cheng lights a cigarette and calmly says:
“Check who’s had weddings or funerals lately. The thief was casing the place.”
“He has stomach problems, is on the skinny side, stands about 170 centimeters tall, and isn’t from around here.”
His superior snaps, “Do you solve cases by fortune-telling, kid?”
His colleagues sneer, “New guy’s just showing off. He doesn’t have a shred of evidence!”
But the next day, the suspect is caught, and every detail matches perfectly!
His superior: “...Zhou Cheng! Why don’t you predict where the murderer in that whole-family massacre is?”
And so a “prophet” of the police force is born in the 1990s!
Criminal profiling, forensic trace analysis, psychological battles in the interrogation room...
When the investigative techniques of the future arrive in this simpler era, he becomes the one and only nemesis of crime!
This is a serious criminal investigation novel. It is not easy to find gold nuggets in Tomato's paintings and calligraphy. The atmosphere created by the author can easily take us back to that era to fight against criminals. The plot is quite grounded and downright creepy at times.
Putting aside Goldfinger, it has the characteristics of detective novels and mystery novels of the time. The author should have a life, please continue to work hard to write more stories about the protagonist 👍👍👍👍
The writing is very good. It should be less systematic and more realistic. It would be better to read.
Clean and neat, not sloppy, and the writing is good
It's pretty good. I have the desire to watch it.
The storyline is described in a delicate way and is worth a read.
It's so well written, cheers author
I think it's very beautiful when I see this, but I'm not sure what's behind it.
It looks so good. I hope there will be a short drama.
It feels like a physical book. It's just such a big case, it doesn't feel like a long story.
