Reborn in Ashen Hues: The CEO’s Beloved Movie Emperor

At 35, Armin wins the Best Actor award, only to suffer a double betrayal after the celebration banquet: his beloved boyfriend, Cherry, and a junior he personally mentored turn against him. In despair, they push him off a high-rise. Clutching his shattered trophy, he dies full of hatred, with nothing left but resentment and obsession. Reborn, he returns to the humbling days ten years earlier, when he was still an extra. His former gentle, upright persona falls away, and he sets his sights on playing sinister, unhinged, morally ambiguous villains. His god-tier acting makes him an online sensation, earning him the title of “anti-public-service-announcement ambassador,” but he also becomes trapped in the whirlpool between his roles and reality, unable to escape.

Tada, the young CEO of entertainment giant Crown Group, is a domineering executive. Cold and autocratic to everyone else, he is devotedly protective and tender toward Armin. In his previous life, he loved Armin in silence but failed to protect him. In this life, he is drawn to Armin step by step without even realizing it, helping him end his contract, paving the way for him, and shielding him from every storm. Along the way, the truth emerges about how Armin saved him when he was young. As they lean on each other through power struggles and sabotage in the entertainment industry, Tada helps Armin overcome his inner demons, and Armin eventually rises to the top again, winning Best Actor.

After same-sex marriage is legalized in Thailand, the two marry. They also travel across mountains and seas to find Armin’s Chinese relatives. Tada is even willing to shift the center of his business operations for Armin, writing a heartfelt love story of mutual salvation that spans life and death.
