Snow Falls on Northeast China: One Hunting Rifle Keeps a Family Afloat

In the twelfth lunar month of 1976, eighteen-year-old Chen Shanhe takes up the old hunting rifle his grandfather left behind and heads straight into the snowbound forest with the two childhood friends he grew up with, all three of them practically naked as babies.
