My Brooding Younger Brother Is a Lunatic by Day and a Sycophant by Night

[Forced love + gloomy obsession + yandere + older woman/younger man romance + both devoted to each other + mutual salvation]

[A gloomy, possessive, obsessive younger man VS an older, unmarried woman with a sweet, innocent exterior]

(The hero is emotionally warped and an extreme yandere.)

Yan Yue is an older unmarried woman who travels abroad to escape her family’s relentless attempts to arrange a marriage. There, she kindly rescues a man with amnesia.

At first, he’s a sweet, sensible, obedient little puppy.

Then she realizes the stray she picked up isn’t a dog at all, but a deadly, clingy snake.

He is Shen Zhidu, the most unhinged young master of the Shen family in the capital.

He is obsessive and gloomy, with a possessiveness so extreme it’s sickening.

He gets rid of every man around her, wins over her parents, and keeps her best friend under house arrest.

At their engagement banquet, in full view of everyone, he fastens a diamond necklace with a tracking device around her neck.

He says, “Big Sis, you’re mine. Run once, and I’ll lock you up once.”

She hates him and wants to escape.

She runs; he chases.

She says, “Shen Zhidu, what will it take for you to let me go?”

But he says, “Big Sis, from the moment you saved me, you were never going to leave me, not even in death.”

In the end, Yan Yue realizes that when he’s cold to the entire world and kneels only before her, her heart seems to be wavering, too...
