When they woke up, three generations of one family found themselves back in the 1980s of the Flower Kingdom. Mo Yichen, who came from 2067, became customer service for a space mall, bound to his grandmother Deng Janying, who was living in 1986. Looking at the shy grandmother who seemed as though a slightly louder voice might make her cry, then thinking of the grandmother in the future, whose voice could make an entire street tremble and whose bold, manlier-than-most-men manner of getting things done was legendary, Mo Yichen felt a stampede of a million alpacas raging through his heart. With the family on the brink of ruin, Mo Yichen had no choice but to take care of both his grandmother and grandfather. He took up farm work, something he had never done before, to support the family. This is the story of how he helped his grandparents make something of themselves.
When faced with all sorts of awful people from the past, should they put them in their place? No, no. The three generations had no time for that. Mo Yichen, the grandson from a generation branded as decadent, and his grandparents, Deng Janying, who had struggled through the 1960s, and Deng Baoqiong, worked for the prosperity of their country. With the help of the space System, they turned themselves in to the state and helped the nation develop.
Content warnings: This story is set in an alternate world, in a parallel space, and features a System. My writing is limited, so please don't flame me if it's not to your taste. Thank you!
A note for readers:
1. The Flower Kingdom is entirely fictional. Don't connect it to real history! It has nothing to do with history! It's completely fictional! This is just a light, feel-good story about infrastructure development, written however I please. There is no background source material!
2. There are many original elements. The awful people aren't the focus; developing yourself is what matters. Thank you.
3. Some information comes from Baidu.
