In China, one out of every three marriages will come to an end, and 80% of them will choose to get married again. But the failure rate of second marriages is 10% higher than the first.
Why?
With this question in mind, sociologist Chen Shanhe interviewed 100 remarried families. From Beijing to Shenzhen, from Shanghai to Chengdu, from transnational marriage to rural remarriage, he recorded the true stories of 100 families.
This book is not an academic report, but a mirror. Among the 100 stories, there are lessons from losers, wisdom from winners, tears from children, and struggles from stepparents.
