During the autopsy, forensic intern Su He discovered black handprints that appeared and disappeared out of thin air on the corpse. The suspicion pointed directly at his brother Su Shan who died in the line of duty. After meeting with the mysterious man, he learned that there is a "Duye Archive" in the world, which specializes in storing abnormal objects carrying obsessions. In order to find out the cause of his brother's death, Su He joined the archives and followed the calm Chen Mo to deal with a series of strange incidents: a drowning radio that automatically broadcasted at midnight, an ancient painting of a lady who could walk out of the scroll, and a bronze mirror hiding the soul of the dead. During the mission, he gradually discovered that the abnormal objects were all driven by unresolved obsessions, and that his brother's death was no accident.
