The first chapter tells that Zhang Jianguo is one year older than Lin Xiaoyang. By the time the college entrance examination was resumed in 1977, Zhang Jianguo himself was 27 years old. There was also a paragraph earlier where Lin Xiaoyang said that he was 31. Fortunately, the flaws do not cover up the virtues.
