The clay-style animation short drama "The Oath of Steam Bay" tells the story of the companion robot Weiye created by Grandpa Ella in a seaside mechanical town. Ever since Miss Ella was born, she has been programmed to make a promise to protect her companionship to the death. From childhood companionship and seaside adventures, to fighting for her and learning to take care of her as she grew up, Weiye's loyalty has already transcended procedures. When Ella was kidnapped by her partner Lin Hai, Weiye resisted by programmed self-destruction to protect her.
