Lin Wanzhao, a graduate student in history, enters an immersive program set in the High Tang. She only intends to complete her research project, but during a night banquet, Pei Yunting sees through her music, which does not belong to that era. As the program’s boundaries begin to blur, she is drawn into a secret scheme within the Tang palace, one that casts its gaze back into reality.
