In the winter of 1980, the provincial capital railway station.
For a meat bun, 15-year-old Sangou smashed a wine bottle on the frozen soil at minus 20 degrees Celsius, and stuck the glass shards into his thigh.
That was the first time he knew: In that era of mud and sand, if you want to live like a human being, you must first live like a dog.
From the blind people who pick up money at the train station, to the transnational businessmen who resell the approval documents;
From the remnants of betrayal under the "hard crackdown" in 1983, to the thugs in suits amid the capital tide in 1992.
In the past thirteen years, he has eaten steamed buns in muddy water and held the hottest U. S. Dollars.
He won the times, but lost the world.
"I'm not trying to get rich, I just don't want that meat bun to be stepped on in the mud again."
Reader comments
I shamelessly come here to rate myself [grievance] and communicate with readers.
I had a rough outline of this novel in my head many years ago, but I did encounter some obstacles when I actually wrote it.
First, some memories and the background and policies of the time are easily blurred. Second, I want to enrich the content of the novel as much as possible and make it exist as a full-length novel.
There are many chapters with no inspiration. I racked my brains and used a lot of adjectives in order to make up the word count, which affected the perception. I would like to apologize here. I will try my best to restore a real era. Of course, everyone's experience is different. If you are born in that era, you can discuss it in the chapter or book review.
When I wrote the letter to Mr. Gu, the thought that came to my mind at that time was "Yu Benhai is an old guest, it's not a big deal." [Face covering] However, the subsequent content of the letter was still based on vernacular. The fifth volume, "Cold in Spring," is relatively depressing and lengthy. Because the darkness before dawn is always long. The content trend of the chapters seems to have a mood.
I am very happy that some people read my novels, and I would like to thank all readers. If there are any mistakes, you can share them in the chapter reviews and book reviews.
After reading ten chapters, I found that the author has solid writing skills, vivid descriptions of characters, and a good understanding of the social status quo of that period. He vividly displays the inner feelings of Sangou, a character who lives in the underground world. It is not easy to make a life in the underground world.
It feels quite real
It looks good, the author probably wants to sell the script
It has the essence of ancient dragon, not bad, not bad
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
That era
Cruel, desperate and disorderly
I have some literary skills and the book is pretty good.
After watching it, I couldn't calm down for a long time.
I haven't seen such a good book for a long time! Must like! 5 Stars
Super beautiful, fast-paced, and penetrating
Awesome, this book is really awesome [crying][crying][crying]
