Hai Rui, a 28-year-old Chinese woman, went to Norway to study alone in order to escape from the past. In the polar night in Tromso, she met Noah, a 24-year-old Norwegian youth. One of the two tried to take the initiative to destroy the old self, and the other tried his best to guard the boundaries, but together they fell into an intense emotion that began with a countdown. The story follows them as they travel through the snowfields of Northern Europe, Southeast Asian cities, and their homeland in China, exploring the fragility and resilience of "self" in the multiple collisions of culture, language, and emotion.
