The Grass and Trees Speak of the Dead

Lin Jian has a secret.

His sense of smell and his awareness of environmental details are far beyond ordinary people's.

The lingering fragrance of tuberose at a murder scene, marks where someone touched the stems of rose bushes, footprints on pipes along an exterior wall... Details other people miss are ironclad evidence of the killer's presence to him.

This gift made people consider him a freak from childhood, and he shut himself away from the world in an art studio.

Then a murder took place on a rainy night, and detective Lu Cong knocked on his door:

"What you see holds the key to catching the killer."

An aloof painter × a tough, no-nonsense detective, partners solving crimes.

Plants and trees make no sound, yet they can testify for the dead. Every overlooked trace conceals the truth behind a series of murders.
