[Nuclear wasteland + fungal zombie horde + hardcore survival + team growth]
[Original setting + The Last of Us + Resident Evil]
The day the bombs fell, the sky over Boston lit up once. Then the whole world began to rot.
Radioactive fallout spread and a fungal virus erupted. No System, no cheat that could punch through the apocalypse: all he could rely on was a cooler head than most, harsher judgment, and the way out he carved for himself time and time again by pushing himself to the brink of death.
But the truly terrifying things were never just the zombies.
Once the power goes out, the meat in the freezers spoils, clean water runs out, and medicine expires. Generators, diesel, hot soup, and a bed where you can sleep in peace all become more precious than gold. In the city, the people still alive can die as a whole team at a street corner because of a cough, a misstep, or a moment's hesitation. And the things that have “run out” of the zombie hordes grow faster and smarter by the day, becoming more and more like nightmares.
Welcome to the real apocalypse. The price of survival is making one correct but cruel decision after another, and holding on to order amid despair.
There is no savior in the apocalypse.
Only those who refuse to accept their fate.
It's beautiful. I love reading it. 😳 I wrote it with my heart. No problem.
It's not bad. The plot rhythm is not sluggish. It's okay.
