[Ensemble cast] [Eerie] [Sequence-based supernatural powers] [Migration] [Doomsday] [Road trip] [Lighthearted comedy]
The Eerie emerge, and every once-prosperous human city falls. Countless terrifying entities occupy the cities, while all manner of demons and monsters roam the streets, fighting the Eerie for territory.
Ordinary people have nowhere to settle. Those who awaken sequence-based supernatural powers struggle to protect themselves, killing the Eerie and crafting strange artifacts to fight them. Yet in the end, they still cannot withstand the three races hunting them down and surrounding them.
Humanity is forced to abandon its homeland and embark on an endless migration. The road ahead is fraught with danger. The three races, the extraterrestrial demons, the mountain-dwelling monsters, and the Eerie of the mortal world, take turns ambushing them. Meanwhile, the Shadow Alliance, a traitorous organization that has turned against humanity, secretly hunts them down and cuts off their escape.
Chen Shi, a thirty-year-old man, blends in with the crowds of wanderers, coasting through life and scraping by.
He had hoped to lie flat and survive in peace, but is dragged into supernatural conflicts. He meets all kinds of demons and monsters with laugh-out-loud antics, and relies on his bizarre abilities and assortment of strange artifacts to struggle comically against the hunters in this chaotic age, fighting his way through a collapsing Doomsday.
I've been reading for a long time, but I haven't seen any mention of highway migration.
