[Rent-a-Wife Romance + Military Marriage + Becoming Beautiful + Substitute Bride + Deception + Reversal + Transmigrate into a Book + Pocket Dimension + Face-Slapping]
[A cool, sweet, or aloof apocalypse powerhouse VS a sometimes cold, sometimes wickedly charming, sometimes puppy-like military commander]
Rong Chang was woken by a conversation.
Two people were discussing selling her off to a black mine to dig for ore. Worse still, the man wanted to have his way with her before sending her off.
Was Rong Chang going to put up with that?
She was about to kill them both when she realized she had transmigrated into someone else’s body. That complicated things. Was murder allowed here?
It took some getting used to, but anywhere was better than the apocalypse, right? She didn’t need to psych herself up. Rong Chang accepted her new situation right away.
But where were the memories?
Couldn’t she at least get a hint?
There was no time to worry about it. When the two traffickers said the original owner had sold people before, Rong Chang headed straight to the police station.
It would be best if she hadn’t. But even if she really had sold people, so what?
It wasn’t Rong Chang who had done it. What did she have to fear?
So she had transmigrated into a book, too?
She had been fighting the Zombie King and beaten him until he couldn’t fight back when a teammate stabbed her in the back. Then she woke up inside a book she’d read to pass the time. To top it off, she was the villain, the wicked supporting female character.
She had stolen her cousin’s fiancé, an officer who was badly wounded and suffering from amnesia, and hidden him in a black mining district, then started playing at being his rent-a-wife.
But this man, who was supposedly her partner, refused to cooperate. They had been together for months and still hadn’t consummated the relationship.
Most importantly, why was he so different from the man in the book?
Was he really suffering from amnesia, or had he been plotting against the heroine all along?
And wasn’t he supposed to truly love the heroine? Wasn’t he supposed to love her forever?
Why couldn’t Rong Chang get rid of him, no matter how many times she tried?
Forget it. Rong Chang had no time to play at romance with him. In this backward era, what wasn’t more important than a man?
It's very beautiful, I still have more to say, highly recommended!
