Shen An & Gu Qingci
Shen An thought she was only a passing guest, staying for a little while. She never intended to give her heart to anyone.
She had no idea that someone had already chosen her as the destination for the rest of her life.
Gu Qingci approached her cautiously and loved her earnestly, giving Shen An all the affection she had to give.
Shen An quietly accepted her kindness, gave her a bracelet, stood up for her, and shielded her from every trouble. To Shen An, it was simply a return for Gu Qingci’s tenderness, but Gu Qingci took it to heart.
It wasn’t until the day Shen An walked away that Gu Qingci finally understood. Eyes red, she asked:
“Did you ever love me at all?”
“Divorce is the best outcome for both of us.”
Shen An replied coldly and left without a second thought, believing it was over and she could sever all ties with Gu Qingci.
