The interesting thing about this book is that the protagonist captures Yelu Deguang alive, which directly leads to a serious butterfly effect throughout the Five Dynasties. Although history is trying to return to its track, careerists are also following the trend. What feels especially real is that after the protagonist has accomplished several great feats with his soldiers, and usually does not treat his subordinates badly, his subordinates still want to kill the commander, or fail to fight, forcing the protagonist to keep killing. It is very different from other novels. Other novels do not describe the cruel and domineering people below the fifth generation. This one is very intuitive. In Chen Congjin's book, the protagonist himself is the one who defeats his superiors, but his direct subordinates are very calm.
