The male protagonist goes from being a rational and strong man who controls everything, to slowly learning to let go of his guard and love sincerely; the female protagonist goes from being passive and defensive, afraid of being abandoned, to gradually making a firm choice and finding herself. The two got closer amidst temptation and pull, breaking away from the shackles of their destined fate while dealing with the pressure from the outside world and their families, and finally broke fate and took control of their own lives.
