[A touch of ensemble cast, everyone’s favorite, many versions of the protagonist, raising the protagonist, masked identities, both leads become powerful later, relaxed and satisfying story] [No CP, but can be read as a male-male romance with the protagonist’s alternate self, or ship whoever you like] [Has a fixed side couple]
A beginner’s practice piece, written purely for fun. Please be patient with me.
Read the content warnings and notes in the author’s comments after Chapters One and Two before you start.
The characters have an extremely high chaos-gremlin content.
The romance tag was assigned by the System and can’t be changed. This is essentially a no-CP story. The protagonist and the other characters are all genderless, though their appearances lean masculine.
I’m a hopeless romantic!
You might find it a little confusing, but you can read it as a bedtime story without thinking too hard. Enjoy the author’s mystery; there’s been foreshadowing all along.
The Abyss is where all the malice in the world gathers. Every broken world eventually collapses into it.
Yet amid all that malice, a tiny spark of kindness emerged.
It took the form of a child with black hair and green eyes, and a mole in the palm of its left hand. Newly born, it understood nothing, like a blank sheet of paper.
Then it met a cloud of black mist. The mist said, “Good day. I’m your guide. Your name will be Yan.”
From then on, Yan had a name, a guide who could turn into a black cat, a game interface floating before its eyes, displaying its attributes, missions, and the rules of this world, and a coin called “Wuwang.”
Together, they entered one broken world after another.
The first world was a family turned upside down;
The second was an amusement park where the fun never ended…
This is a dark fairy tale. Come along with the traveler of the Abyss as we set off on a journey.
“Perhaps, by your side, I can find myself.”
