My Years Running a Funeral Shop: I Only Take Clients From the Other Side

(Mystery + folk customs + crime-solving + wish fulfillment. Not for the fainthearted!)

My grandfather died under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a dilapidated funeral shop.

I was forced to take over, becoming a specialist in the business of the dead.

There’s one rule in this line of work: handle the dead’s affairs, and don’t ask about the living.

From the start, I took on a major job: arranging the funeral of a bride who had hanged herself.

But the moment I arrived, the bride suddenly came back as a corpse, her eyes wide open in death. Weeping blood, she begged me to find her killer!

To stay alive, I had no choice but to grit my teeth and investigate. Then I discovered this was only the beginning.

A drowned child, a sudden death of a tycoon, a headless old corpse… Behind every bizarre funeral lay a truth that made my scalp tingle.

Using my knack for settling the dead’s affairs, I rose through the ranks. Both the underworld and the authorities came to respect me as their king, and even the cool, aloof police beauty became my exclusive partner.

But as my fame grew, I discovered that my grandfather’s death had been no accident. And my own origins were tied to a terrifying conspiracy that would shake the world…
