Su Tang wakes up inside a book as a disposable supporting character, sent far away to marry an army officer she has never met. The original owner died of illness on the train, and when Su Tang takes her place, she doesn’t even know what her fiancé looks like.
Only after arriving at the military base does she discover that her fiancé, Lu Zheng, is cold and stern, barely uttering a word. Su Tang thinks, Fine, I’ll focus on building a career first. I’ll leave men to fate.
She starts a small class, teaches people how to cook, and writes articles, gradually finding her footing. When troublemakers come looking for a fight, she gives as good as she gets. When a leader tries to talk her into quitting, she shuts him down with one sentence: “When military families have a good life, the soldiers at the front can focus on defending our country.”
Then the cold-faced man suddenly comes around. When she goes to the provincial capital on business, he makes her a little stool at home. When someone bullies her, he goes straight to the leader and says, “She’s mine to protect.” When she says she hasn’t decided whether she wants to register their marriage, he tells her, “Take your time. I can wait.”
The whole compound starts saying that Lu Zheng cherishes his little wife above all else. Blushing, Su Tang protests, “No, no…” Lu Zheng wraps an arm around her shoulders from behind and adds, expressionless, “Right. I’ll take care of her for the rest of my life.”
Later, someone asks what it’s like to be married to Lu Zheng. Su Tang thinks for a moment, then smiles. “The whole world thinks he’s a cold-faced demon, but I know he’s a soft candy wrapped in a hard shell. Crack that shell, and he’s sweet all the way through.”
My little wife is so cute, hahaha!
Detailed and beautiful, the plot is also very good, praise!
Interesting, the more I look at it, the better it looks.
The more I watch it, the more I like it and can't stop.
When a rough guy meets a sweet girl, he will be completely obsessed with him, right? 🤭🤭
Every incident in the novel has a beginning and an end, and is resolved thoroughly without leaving the subject behind. It is very comfortable to read.
It's so well written that I read it every day, and even when I'm eating, I want to continue reading it after I finish eating.
It's really good. The narrative and concept are quite interesting. I hope the author will continue to work hard.
I rarely read this type of book, but it still attracted me deeply.
Very nice, the plot is touching, not brainless, not bloody, fairy grass.
