In the late Qing Dynasty, the current situation was undercurrent.
Gu Yanci, a young man from an aristocratic family reunited after a long absence, and unexpectedly crossed paths with Shen Ru, a settled girl in a deep boudoir.
Old feelings are quietly revived, the world is changing, and things are unpredictable.
Living in a turbulent era where storms are approaching, the two have mutual support and love for each other.
In the ups and downs of the troubled times, keep the same original intention, think of each other with a white head, have deep love in both directions, and stay with each other year after year.

As my first completed work with a word count of more than 100,000 words, "Inkstone Xiangru" has a very different meaning to me. I selfishly give it a 9. When writing, the male protagonist's warm and scholarly feeling was based on Chen Xingxu's temperament, which was reserved and affectionate, as calm as the ink marks in the inkstone; the female protagonist was replaced by Chen Duling's cool and gentle feeling, as clean as the vegetation stretched after the rain. This is not a dramatic story, just two gentle people slowly getting closer between the pen and the page. It may not be explosive enough, but every word hides my understanding of "gentle encounter", and I hope it can bring a little quiet warmth and strength to you who read this.
