The apocalypse has arrived: viruses, zombies, and a city reduced to ruins. Same old story.
Other people awaken powers to control zombies, manipulate metal, or run incredibly fast. Sounds impressive, but when a horde comes, they still end up running for their lives.
Lin Ye is different. His ability is a little eerie: he draws blood from zombies and transforms it into a violent energy he calls Blood Power. It's devastatingly powerful. Ordinary electricity doesn't even come close.
How much stronger is it, exactly? He hasn't bothered to calculate. As long as it gets the job done, that's enough.
At first, he just wanted to survive. No gun? He'd shape a makeshift one out of Blood Power. Then he gradually discovered that this energy could form laser blades and build energy cannons, powerful enough to blast high-level zombies to pieces. Short on supplies? He'd use Blood Power to run abandoned machinery and restart production lines. While everyone else was digging through trash for something to eat, he was already building his own supply base.
Of course, he's no savior. He's got his priorities straight: take over the derelict strongholds, armories, and power stations scattered across the wasteland, one by one, and make them all his territory.
As for ruling the wasteland and ushering in a new era, that's all just wild rumors spread by other people.
Lin Ye has no time to think about any of that.
He's busy hunting zombies.
After all, to him, every zombie is a walking can of fuel.
