Journey to the West: This Monk Demon Is a Little Too Ferocious

[Misunderstandings, leveling up, invincibility, a fresh take on Journey to the West] Chen Yi transmigrates into the world of Journey to the West, becoming a fearsome bandit in the Tang Empire and leveling up at breakneck speed. Chen Yi: “Don't run! I really don't kill people. I'm just craving your magic power!” Seeing the ground covered in ashes, the Little White Dragon is moved to tears. “Master's Great Transcendence Technique cremated them in one step, sparing them the suffering of reincarnation. This is true great compassion!” Sha Wujing: “By using killing to end killing, Master proceeds with such care. He must be playing a grand game to restore order to the Three Realms!” Zhu Bajie: “Good grief, how can Master be even more vicious than Senior Brother?” Years later, Chen Yi topples Spirit Mountain, wreaks havoc in the Heavenly Palace, and takes the throne in the Hall of the High Heavens. Looking down at the gods and Buddhas kneeling before him, he rubs his forehead helplessly. “I only wanted to absorb a little magic power. How did I end up ruler of the Three Realms?”
