A Fu: A herb-gatherer who lives hidden in the mountains, brilliant at both medicine and cooking. Quirky, fiery, and outspoken, she has a sharp tongue but a soft heart, and a mysterious past.
Du Xun: A fallen scion of a once-prominent family, exceptionally skilled in combat and meticulous by nature. He carries a blood feud and is both stubborn and guarded. Though cold and distant on the outside, he is loyal, devoted, and fiercely protective of those he loves.
They meet at a ruined temple. To save his younger brother, who has been struck by a strange poison, Du Xun agrees to serve A Fu like a beast of burden and do her bidding. To resolve a crisis facing her sect, A Fu agrees to take them up the mountain to seek a cure, claiming they are a son-in-law she picked up and his younger brother.
And so their story begins. Living in seclusion deep in the mountains, they farm, hunt, and share the warmth of home. The violent lone wolf slowly learns to protect with tenderness; the free-spirited girl of the wilds gradually discovers that her heart has found someone to hold on to.
As they spend day after day together, affection quietly blooms. They save one another and grow side by side.
But the poison remains uncured, and there are grudges between sects, a family blood feud, mysteries surrounding their origins, and dangers at every turn. Can they stay true to themselves and protect each other?
With hatred, schemes, and fate closing in, watch this young couple, each moving toward the other, join hands to break through the impasse, wield love as a blade, and reach a life of perfect happiness together, no matter what it takes!
It's really good-looking. I hope the author can release a second part as soon as possible. Looking forward to [top post]
Hope there is a lower part
The writing is good and the imagery is strong, but no one has commented
