Courage and Gunpowder

This disaster is really stuck at the right time. Pushing forward a little further, the number of people is simply not enough to form a wave, unable to form such a powerful force that destroys everything. Besides, at least they will instinctively look for religion. Pushing back a little further, people have made progress in weapons, medical treatment and communication, which can effectively suppress the disease and the panic it brings. This disaster is indeed stuck well, nothing more, nothing less, and it has touched the most fragile period. Nationalism is budding, the old identity has just been broken, and the new identity is still in its infancy. However, if you re-use the beliefs of the old era, you will not be able to unite so many people. After all, the old consensus has been broken like glass. You may be able to use this Pick up the glass shards and paste them, but they are definitely not as strong as before. Secondly, faith is out of control. People will definitely be willing to use the name of God to support it, but fanaticism will always fade, and as far as the history of this type of religion is concerned, this fade is usually a big defeat. Can people in this timeline still withstand a big defeat? At the same time, this also echoes the communication issues I mentioned before. If a failure can be forcibly framed as a victory, and morale can be locked up a little, at least before the infected person rushes to their face, everyone will feel that it is a victory. In terms of time, the Napoleonic War was the end of the Little Ice Age. This disease originated in the ice and snow. Its cold-resistant characteristics are particularly strong under the blessing of this kind of weather. Maybe this kind of bacteria or viruses are extremely afraid of heat in the early stage, but with such rapid infection, it is obvious that they are constantly making up for their shortcomings. If this disaster really comes to an end, I am afraid it will still rely on the most primitive method, which is to isolate and wait for it to pass. After this disaster has passed, it will be more difficult to rebuild civilization. Economically, the decline in the number of people will cause the market to shrink. At the same time, production will be difficult, high-quality industrial population will be lost, and identity will be more difficult. The two identities of nationalism and egalitarianism will no longer exist, and religion will be shattered. From spiritual to material, this is a blow. Perhaps due to the decline in the number of people, they must be forced to return to the feudal period again, which is just black powder punk or imperial punk.

It's very nice to read and well written, and viscera and black powder books are really rare. ([Laughter] [Laughter] [Laughter] God saves the king [Laughter] [Laughter] [Laughter] [Laughter]

Author's note: I am here to brag. Although this book is adapted from a game setting, regardless of whether you have played the original version or not, thank you very much for your patience in reading it. The author will discuss some larger issues besides apocalyptic novels, such as love, courage, faith, identity, etc. I hope everyone will not give up. If you have any suggestions, the more the better~😃😘

Well written, I like it

It's really good. It fits the original world view very well. There are many threads. There are no protagonists in this book, only ordinary people in war and blight.

I haven't played this game, but it seems to be very well written. There's a bit of an AI flavor in some places, but overall it's very good.

Finally someone wrote GB. It's good to read. I love to read more. 🙂

Well written, but a bit AI-y

Good, good, very good

Nice. That is, the so-called AI expansion tool. If there are too many adjectives, delete them. There are so many metaphors that are terrifying
