Five Months Pregnant, I Heard the Baby in My Womb Begging to Die

On the afternoon I was five months pregnant, the sun was shining brightly. I smiled as I stroked my belly and said softly: “Baby, Mommy loves you so much. Grow big and strong, and come into the world healthy. I can’t wait for that day.” Then I heard that voice. “Mommy, can you abort me?” My hand went rigid. The voice came again, perfectly clear: “Mommy, please. Don’t give birth to me.” I instinctively asked: “Why, baby?” She fell silent for three seconds, then calmly said: “Because when I’m five, you’ll bring my little sister home, and you’ll never look at me again.” But I have no plans to have a second child!
