Reborn in the Apocalypse as the Blood Moon Rises

Before the apocalypse, Lin Shen was trapped in a cursed loop, dying and being reborn again and again in the three days before the blood moon arrived. On his final chance, he struggles to survive in the ruins of the city and escapes into an underground facility called the “Source Well,” left behind by a mysterious extraterrestrial civilization known as the “Observers.” There, Lin Shen discovers that the blood moon disaster is no natural calamity. It is the result of energy leaking from an alien experimental subject, and he himself is a chosen experimental “variable.” As dangers multiply throughout the facility, a former researcher named Eliza leaves behind a dangerous last resort. Faced with the facility’s out-of-control guards and the prospect of becoming a “new source of infection,” Lin Shen ultimately chooses to detonate the experimental subject’s core. At the cost of destroying most of his memories and his ability to be reborn, he deals a devastating blow to the blood moon’s energy. He and Aya barely make it back to the surface, only to find that the world has become a wasteland. Suffering from severe amnesia and trauma, they support each other and leave the dangerous city behind, venturing into perilous mountains and forests. Among the ruins, they learn how to struggle to survive as ordinary people in a true post-apocalyptic wasteland, beginning an entirely new fight against the unknown.
