A mysterious studio in an old alley late at night.
Ling Ye can see things that others cannot see - those souls trapped by obsession.
One rainy night, she received a distress call from Room 302. On the other end of the phone was the girl who was killed by PUA.
A thousand-year-old fox demon left an old scar on her wrist.
A paranoid collector tries to resurrect his dead lover with seven obsessions.
Resentment, inferiority, greed, ignorance, fear, anger, arrogance——
Seven obsessions, seven antidotes.
Ling Ye must rush before him to find those trapped by obsession.
But she didn't know that the last obsession was with herself.
"All obsessions in the world can be solved. The solution lies not in magical power, but in understanding, accepting, and letting go."

Before opening this book, I thought I would see a "ghost hunting" story.
After all, the cover depicts an old alley on a rainy night. The bluestone road is wet, and a window deep in the alley shines dimly, like an eye that refuses to close. The introduction says "empath", "obsessed spirit" and "help number in room 302" - no matter how you look at it, it's all standard in horror novels.
But after reading the first three chapters, I realized I was wrong.
There is indeed something wrong with this. Shen Jing was wearing a white dress, hanging in the corner of room 302, her voice was heavy with water, wet and dripping. Her tears were black, like ink, like oil, like polluted water welling up from deep underground. She wrote "hate" in front of the mirror. After writing, she erased and then wrote. The mirror surface was covered with dark red marks, the new ones covered the old ones, and the dried ones formed a film, and the reflection glowed with a strange purple-red color.
But this is not horror. It hurts.
Shen Jing was not killed by a ghost. She was killed by a man named Chen Zhe. The man who praised her "paintings have soul" at the art exhibition later told her, "It's just for fun, don't take it too seriously." When she was pregnant, he pushed her down and told her to "abort" her. She didn't commit suicide, she was killed. Being PUA, emotionally manipulated, and mentally destroyed.
Then at the most desperate moment, a voice appeared: "Hate? I can give you power. Make him pay the price."
That voice is called Mo Yuan. A ghost who has lived for a thousand years, a madman who lost his lover, and a collector who feeds on human obsessions. He collected Shen Jing's resentment, collected Ah Hua's inferiority, collected Zhang Lei's greed... Seven obsessions, seven fuels, in order to resurrect a white fox named Lingxi.
Ling Ye said: "I can't afford the price of your transaction."
But then she wrote two words: sacrifice.
