[Apologies for the OOC]
Hope's Peak Academy, a world-renowned private high school, shut down for good after the greatest and most despair-inducing incident in its history. This then sparked the greatest and most despair-inducing event in human history. The seventy-eighth class, including Makoto Naegi, was trapped in the ruins of Hope's Peak Academy, but they failed to defeat the Ultimate Despair, Junko Enoshima. Instead, the entire class fell into despair.
Hajime Hinata and the others from the seventy-seventh class were trapped in a virtual world. Their plan failed, however, and they couldn't awaken their classmates, who had fallen into despair. Hajime became Izuru Kamukura once again. Just as the whole world was about to sink into despair, a new killing game began in a place unknown to all, and new hope began to take root.
[Author's note: The first-person narration mentioned in the tags applies to the killing game arc. After that arc, the story will no longer use a first-person perspective. Also, face-slapping and urban legend rules were added by Fanqie itself, so don't take them seriously.]
[For the killing game arc, read Volumes 1 and 2. For the prequel, read Volume 3. For Season 1.5, read Volume 4.]
(Only the second volume is out so far, but it's almost finished.)
I hope you can comment more so that I can make corrections.
