[Dual male leads + both devoted exclusively to each other + cold-faced, shameless, low-EQ top × hot-faced, flirtatious, quirky bottom + equally matched strength + ensemble cast of young heroes + martial world + political intrigue + love grows over time + pure romance]
Eleven years ago, the heads of the Ling and Ye families died suddenly. What was strange was that their funerals took place on the very same day.
Was this merely a coincidence, or was there some hidden mystery behind it?
Eleven years later, sixteen-year-old Ye Feihua is ordered down the mountain to exterminate a demon. By chance, he learns of a secret map to a former dynasty's fabled realm, a discovery that has sent shockwaves through the martial world. As he searches for the map, he meets all kinds of martial heroes and makes four close friends.
Yet it seems they are following in someone else's footsteps, walking step by step into a game that has already been laid out for them.
What deadly secrets does this game conceal? Why were these few chosen to enter it? And what does it have to do with the funerals eleven years ago?
At the end of their search for the secret realm, they meet the mastermind. The mysteries seem to vanish before their eyes, yet a thin haze remains, like paper over a window.
And after the first game, an even deeper web of courtly intrigue lies in wait!
The sage hides selfish desires, while the scoundrel reveals a true heart.
When the story ends, Ye Feihua looks back at the person by his side, the one who watched over him and stayed with him all this way. It seems the only one is the man he wanted to kill the moment they met.
“Ling Fengxue, thank you.”
“I was only following my heart.”
This is the first time I saw this book from Tomato. Maybe it's because Tomato likes to promote books with relatively high traffic. The writing style is great. Please allow me to not be specific enough. Most likely it's because I don't like reading this type of book. I very much hope that you can finish this book and update the second book, which may have themes that I like. Come on!
This book is very interesting, with a tight pace and well-written characters. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves watching Jianghu. It's really interesting!
Love this kind of writing!!!! More
