Prologue The Legend of Liwan Square
There is a place in Liwan, Guangzhou. Old Guangzhou people's expressions change slightly when they mention it. New Guangzhou people pass by and feel a cold wind, but they don't know why.
That is Liwan Plaza.
It is said to be a square, but in fact it is a huge commercial complex located in the most prosperous area of Liwan District. Eight high-rise buildings rise from the ground, arranged in a trigram shape. The facades are covered with dark red tiles, which glow strangely in the sun, like long-dried blood stains. A huge sunken square is enclosed in the center of the building complex, and the ground is paved with black and white granite to form a huge Tai Chi pattern - only later people will know that the original paving was not a Tai Chi pattern.
Liwan Plaza was completed in 1996 with a total investment of more than 1 billion. It was called a landmark building in that era. However, from the day it opened, strange things happened one after another.
In the first year of operation, seventeen falling incidents occurred in the square, all concentrated in the north building.
The next year, twelve more people jumped to their deaths in the south building.
In the third year, the square management office invited Bai Yunlong, a famous Feng Shui master from Hong Kong, to investigate. Bai Yunlong only took one look, turned around and left with a livid face, leaving behind a sentence: "There is something buried underneath this piece of land, and it cannot be suppressed. Please ask someone else."
Later, after many twists and turns, the developer invited a descendant of Zhang Tianshi from Longhu Mountain in Jiangxi. The heavenly master stayed underground in the square for three days and three nights. When he came out, his eyes were bloodshot and he had lost weight. He only said one word: "Coffin."
Eight coffins were buried in the ground in Bagua orientation. In each coffin was nailed a human body wrapped in iron chains.
