Grandma was born in the 10th year of the Republic of China, and her life went through troubled times and turbulent mountains and rivers.
When she was young, she encountered warlords fighting and grew up in a rough and turbulent life; during the war years, she devoted herself to the anti-Japanese logistics, using her body as a woman to support the world behind, and doing her best for her family and country.
She personally witnessed the founding of the People's Republic of China and witnessed the prosperity of all things. She also devoted herself to construction with enthusiasm and joined the party with sincerity. But she had an unfortunate fate. Because her mother's family was a landlord, and her relatives were former high-ranking officials of the Kuomintang, she was implicated for no reason in a special period. She was expelled from the party and dismissed from her job, and suffered all kinds of grievances and hardships.
A life of glory and humiliation, blood and silence. She never bowed to suffering, lived a stable life with her heart in mind, and finally died at the age of eighty-seven.
She is the glimmer of light in troubled times, the root of the family, and the truest epitome of ordinary women of an era.
