When a magical prince puts on a school uniform, and a fire-wreathed hand grips a ballpoint pen, something about this world just doesn't feel right.
Jiang Chen, the Flame Prince of Aeridoria, was swallowed by a rift in space and time during a forbidden spell ritual. When he awoke, he had become an ordinary high school student. His fire, water, wind, and light magic were reduced to scraps, and school rules crushed the dignity of royalty. He thought this was the worst possible ending, until he met Lin Xi, the girl who was always smiling at him.
She won over his stomach with a cup of milk tea, then shattered his pride with a physics test paper. Before he could even learn how to confess his feelings, pursuers from the Shadow Council had already crawled out of the rift in space and time.
When a phone power bank can recharge light magic, and a WiFi signal can substitute for the wind element, who says the modern world has no magic?
