[Ten-Year-Old Empress + Transmigration + System + Lighthearted Power Fantasy + Governing Through Food + Everyone Misreads Her + Occasional Absurdity]
In one sentence: From a ten-year-old princess to an emperor for the ages, my empire is mine to rule!
Gu Yi transmigrates into the body of a ten-year-old legitimate eldest princess and is handed the Imperial Jade Seal.
The ministers kneel and weep: “Princess, think twice! A woman has never ruled as emperor before!”
Gu Yi hugs the Jade Seal, which is bigger than her head, and steps onto the throne:
“I’m the late emperor’s legitimate child. I’ve got ‘legitimate, eldest, child, and heir’ covered. Why shouldn’t I be emperor?”
The day she binds with the [Emperor’s Guaranteed Win] System, her odds of victory show 99.9%.
The System chirps happily: “Host, just lie back! This is a sure win!”
Gu Yi shuts off the odds display. “Who told you I was going to lie back?”
So when snowstorms ravage the northern frontier, she opens her private treasury to provide relief, then confiscates a corrupt official’s estate and doubles the funds.
When the grain transport routes grind to a halt, she grows potatoes to solve the food shortage and sends the navy to open a sea route for grain shipments.
When the Rong-Di tribes threaten the border, she sends back a letter: “Cross our border by even an inch, and I’ll flatten your grasslands.”
Later, the allied armies of six nations lay siege to the capital.
Gu Yi rides out on a pony and presents them with a cookbook:
“Hot pot base recipe in exchange for a hundred-mile retreat. Deal?”
The enemy camp falls silent for three seconds, then a thunderous voice rings out:
“Your Majesty! Could we get a milk tea recipe too? Our khan’s favorite consort wants some!”
The ministers go from “Your Majesty, think twice” to “Your Majesty, this is amazing” after just one late-night snack whipped up by the imperial kitchens.
The System goes from “The Host wins without lifting a finger” to “Host, you carry and I’ll spam 666,” after her odds drop below 50%, only for her to force them right back up to 100%.
