Imagine this: What would happen if our revered ancestor, Emperor Wu of Han, Liu Che, had a time portal that let him travel back and forth between the modern world and the Han Dynasty?

This story begins in the second year after Liu Che ascends the throne.

He is locked in a power struggle with his grandmother, Empress Dowager Dou. He wants to abolish the policies of [marriage alliances and noninterference in government],

turning from defense to offense!

He will unite every force in the empire and strike hard at the Xiongnu, washing away the national humiliation of the seventy years since the dynasty's founding...!

But his grandmother, Empress Dowager Dou, and the conservative faction won't let him act recklessly. They're afraid he'll ruin the Han Empire...!

Emperor Wu of Han, Liu Che:

“From now on, the balance of offense and defense has shifted!!!”

“If the enemy can invade, so can I!!!!!”
